Job Description:

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician? Have you completed an accredited apprenticeship and are multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical functions? Our client, Caterpillar Peterlee, is the worldwide source of Cat® Articulated Trucks, currently producing 7 variants used in many industries including mining, construction and aggregates. The facility's manufacturing activities use the latest computer analysis techniques, robotic technology and a state-of-the-art paint plant.

Job Responsibility:

Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown maintenance on: Automated Metal Cutting Equipment including Laser and Plasma
Automated Paint Plant
Robotic Welding Systems
Welding equipment
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
Electronic Torque equipment
Automated Moving Lines/AGVs
Hydraulic Presses
Overhead and Semi Goliath Cranes
Completing Dynamic Risk Assessments along with adhering to the company's Health and Safety policy
Utilising the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP PM, Agility etc) to review previous breakdown data and record actions taken on breakdown recoveries
Diagnosing PLC concerns and implementing program changes
Complete training and further learning as required
Breakdown root cause identification and countermeasure implementation

Requirements:

Experience relevant to an industrial manufacturing environment
Completed an accredited apprenticeship and be multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical functions (electrical preferred)
