Our client is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep facility equipment and automated systems running smoothly. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery critical to daily operations — including carton erectors, conveyors, pneumatics, and their proprietary warehouse robotic system. You’ll support operations throughout your shift, respond to breakdowns, complete preventive maintenance, and communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
Job Responsibility:
Perform start-of-shift inspections to verify all machines and equipment are operating correctly for the operations team
Monitor the performance of Carton Erectors and ensure continuous, efficient operation
Ensure the proprietary system is functioning properly throughout the shift
Read equipment manuals and identify required parts or repairs
Communicate with vendors and customers when technical issues require external support
Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PMs) assigned by the supervisor
Diagnose and repair equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and conveyor-related problems
Log all maintenance activity, issues, repairs, and observations accurately in maintenance systems
Respond quickly and effectively to unexpected breakdowns during the shift
Document any issues encountered during the shift and hand off critical information to the next technician
Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment are cleaned and properly stored
Close out or transition ongoing projects as needed
Requirements:
Experience with conveyor systems and pneumatics (highly preferred, not required)
Broad knowledge of general maintenance disciplines (mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting)
Ability to read manuals, identify parts, and understand technical specifications
Strong communication skills
able to work with vendors and internal teams
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Prior maintenance technician experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
