The Plant Operations | Maintenance Assistant supports and assists the Plant Supervisor in plant operations needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides interior maintenance of the community as defined by company standards
  • Provides exterior maintenance of the community including grounds keeping
  • Assists in coordination of community events
  • Assists in all phases of maintenance pertaining to resident apartments and common areas of the community

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • HVAC certification is a plus
  • Experience working with seniors and various state and local agencies for inspections is preferred
  • High school diploma or the state equivalent
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Maintenance experience
  • Previous groundskeeping experience
  • Willing to take a criminal background check

  • Effectively conduct and assess diagnostic tests to ensure optimum system functionality
  • Assemble, install, and proactively maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment for efficient operation
  • Operate arc welder, cutting torch, hand tools, and forklift
  • Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as needed

  • Maintain records of repair work and daily checks as required by local Council, Government and Manufacturer specifications
  • Work closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to promptly address ‘down’ rooms and help ensure quick turnaround times for guest availability
  • Ensure the external areas of the hotel are neat and tidy and maintained in line with Company Brand standards
