The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving in-unity and exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition to other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained.
Job Responsibility:
Walk and inspect common areas for maintenance concerns

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate
Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained
Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains
Inspect, operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required
2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
Customer service focused and team oriented
Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills
Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements
Time management and time critical prioritization skills
