Maintenance technician

• Perform regular preventative and unscheduled/emergency maintenance on production equipment
• Maintain equipment parts inventory and order replacement parts
• Detect and report questionable conditions and malfunctioning equipment
• Work with outside vendors
• Perform maintenance of building and grounds
• Perform all duties in compliance with USDA/FDA, OSHA and company policies including safety guidelines and GMPs

• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years' manufacturing experience with strong skills in equipment repair and maintenance
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Knowledge of machine repair, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and janitorial skills
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
• Ability to comprehend verbal instructions and read and interpret machine specs, instruction manuals and product labels
• Reliable and dependable
• Available to work Monday through Friday and occasionally Saturday or Sunday
• High level of job motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision

Two-year degree or completion of a program in mechanical or industrial maintenance
