Job Responsibility:
Identify and resolve problems in both legacy and contemporary equipment featuring programmable logic controller (PLC) systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.), vision systems, electrical schematics, photo eyes/sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, temperature controllers, variable speed drives, motors, servos, pneumatic systems, motor and machine controls, advanced electronics, electrical systems up to 480v, 3ph
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment availability and reduce downtime
Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including Arc Flash, Lock Out Tag Out, Basic Electrical safety, Ladder Safety, and other plant programs
Be ready and willing to work overtime when required to meet production needs
Requirements:
Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required, with a related certificate from a college or technical school
An AA degree is preferred, or equivalent training and experience
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in Industrial Manufacturing / Production Maintenance
Comprehensive experience in electrical/electronic maintenance, repair, and programming related to PLC controls, AC/DC motors and drives, electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, Servo drives and motors, controls, relays, switches, sensors, solenoid valves, and vision systems
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, combined with good documentation skills and strong computer abilities
Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions, self-motivated with limited supervision, customer-focused approach, and physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs
