Job Description:

Villatel, a hospitality company, is expanding the Maintenance Team to work at our Orlando Resort. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, maintenance, and functionality of our guest accommodations and facilities. Your expertise in various trades, coupled with your flexibility and strong communication skills, will be essential as you interact with guests and deliver exceptional maintenance services.

Job Responsibility:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of guest accommodations, common areas, and facilities
Demonstrate proficiency in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance, to address a wide range of maintenance issues effectively
Interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner while addressing maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely and efficient solutions to ensure guest satisfaction
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations, such as plumbing leaks, electrical outages, or HVAC malfunctions, to minimize disruption to guests and mitigate potential damage to property
Implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address maintenance issues before they escalate, ensuring the longevity of equipment and facilities
Maintain clear and open communication with guests, colleagues, and management regarding maintenance activities, progress, and any potential impact on guest experiences
Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, guests, and visitors
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory, for documentation, tracking, and reporting purposes

Requirements:

Extensive experience and proficiency in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or property management setting
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules, and guest demands in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and thoroughness of maintenance work, as well as compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods, as required to complete maintenance duties
Possession of relevant certifications, licenses, or qualifications in trades such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, or carpentry may be preferred or required
Stamina and physical endurance to perform tasks that require sustained effort or repetitive motions over extended periods
capability to work outdoors in the heat
