Maintenance Technician

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues during breakdowns
• Conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs during production
• Perform scheduled maintenance during machine downtime
• Assist all departments with equipment breakdowns and repairs
• Inspect machinery and identify malfunctions or inefficiencies
• Repair or replace components, including fuses, relays, motors, pumps, and starters
• Use tools such as voltmeters, welders, and hand tools effectively
• Troubleshoot faulty electrical circuits and systems
• Assist with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new installations
• Fabricate or modify equipment to support production needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all health & safety regulations and procedures
• Perform basic facility maintenance tasks
• Complete all other duties as assigned by management

• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with mechanical and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret basic schematics (asset)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Safety-focused mindset
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work extended periods
• Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial conditions
