Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician for a stable company in Oudenaarde. This role focuses on ensuring the optimal performance of production machinery through preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance. Working in a two-shift system with periodic on-call responsibilities, the Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibility:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
Diagnose and repair mechanical defects independently
Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency
Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols and operational guidelines
Participate in a two-shift work system and monthly on-call duties

Requirements:

Educational background in (electro) mechanics or equivalent professional experience
Proven track record as a mechanic in a production maintenance setting
Proficiency in interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Strong teamwork capabilities with the ability to work independently when required
Proactive mindset for identifying and implementing process improvements
Detail-oriented, capable of performing under pressure, and driven to achieve results
