The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for and involved in: Maintenance and repair of equipment; Analyzing and Troubleshooting malfunctions of equipment related to components, diagnosing and correcting the problems quickly; Read and interpret drawings and Electrical schematics; Calibration of equipment (Fluid, Air and Fan); Understanding and troubleshooting Safety and intrusion alarms inside Paint booths; Gun rebuilding (touch-up guns, Paint guns and BELLS); Perform corrective and preventative work on all plant equipment; Booth and Oven Air Balancing; Conveyor and Reader knowledge
Job Responsibility:
Demonstrate overall safe work behavior, including the utilization of proper safety equipment and adherence to safety guidelines
Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, paint and engine fluid process control systems, roll formers, plasma cutters and resistance and MIG welding equipment along with other electro-mechanical equipment
Breakdown
clean
rebuild, troubleshoot, and repair the following types of equipment: pumps, air motors, welders, fluid power systems, gear drives, heavy industrial machinery and controls
Daily application of mechanical/electrical aptitude and skills to solve production related problems
Rebuild various equipment based on written and oral instruction
Work with maintenance organization to resolve open issues
Diagnose equipment failures at the system and component levels
Work with the team leaders to perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Successful completion of and graduation from the Texas Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program OR High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience in maintenance related field OR High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience in maintenance related field OR High School Diploma or GED and at least 7 years of experience in a maintenance related field
Must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
Must have organization skills, effective communication skills with both technical and professional staff
Ability to troubleshoot problems and offer solutions on all industrial systems
Expert knowledge of preventive maintenance
Ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency
Ability to demonstrate overall safe work behavior, including the utilization of proper safety equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
Must be willing to work any shift
Must have the flexibility to work a rotating weekly on-call schedule
Must be able to work a mandatory overtime rotation schedule

Nice to have:
Possess a working knowledge of 480 volt, 277 volt, 240 volt, 208 volt and 120/24 volt systems with the ability to implement these voltages, including routing of all conduit and wires installing breaker panels, disconnects, transformers, lighting, etc. and performing terminations without supervision
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components
Basic knowledge of industrial safety requirements related to hazardous, flammable, and explosive materials and environments
Ability to self-manage work priorities
Knowledge of INFOR and MTTR
Ability to specify the needed parts for equipment or process failures
