Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role would report to the Facilities and Safety Manager, and would perform a wide variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the manufacturing equipment and facilities. These tasks are vital to the safety and efficiency of the manufacturing team, and to the quality of the finished product.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including cleaning, calibrations, inspections, testing, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the facilities, including inspections, testing, replacing bulbs/batteries, etc.
  • Perform/assist with repairs as needed
  • Assemble/move furniture and equipment as needed

Requirements

  • Experience in a facilities and/or manufacturing maintenance role
  • Understanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills
  • Basic finish skills, including paint and drywall
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks for 8 hours/day
  • Ability to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdowns
  • Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language

Nice to have

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Experience reporting task completion through a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)
  • Certifications in any facilities discipline, particularly mechanical, electrical, or plumbing
  • First aid/CPR certification
  • Forklift experience/certification
