Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a modern, highly progressive facility in Langley, BC. This position goes far beyond reactive, day-to-day repairs—you will play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and driving a workplace culture focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. From complex equipment installations to advanced diagnostics, your expertise will directly ensure smooth production and optimal machinery uptime within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Read diagrams and schematics to determine repair or installation steps
  • Install and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Inspect machinery for irregularities or malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective parts and adjust machinery as needed
  • Fabricate parts using machine tools during setup or repairs
  • Ensure safety devices function properly after installations or repairs
  • Maintain and sharpen machine tools
  • Perform preventative maintenance and keep detailed service records
  • Clean and lubricate machinery regularly
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience with automation, electrical knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and PLCs are an asset
  • Hands-on experience with fans, motors, pumps, valves, hoists, compressors, cylinders, and conveyors
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable working independently and under tight deadlines
  • Safety-first mindset with knowledge of equipment safety standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts when needed (e.g., vacation coverage)
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
  • Must follow safety regulations and handle equipment and chemical hazards
  • Application Requirement: Candidates required to currently reside within British Columbia and hold valid legal eligibility to work full-time in Canada to be considered for this position
