We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a modern, highly progressive facility in Langley, BC. This position goes far beyond reactive, day-to-day repairs—you will play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and driving a workplace culture focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. From complex equipment installations to advanced diagnostics, your expertise will directly ensure smooth production and optimal machinery uptime within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
Job Responsibility
Read diagrams and schematics to determine repair or installation steps
Install and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Inspect machinery for irregularities or malfunctions
Repair or replace defective parts and adjust machinery as needed
Fabricate parts using machine tools during setup or repairs
Ensure safety devices function properly after installations or repairs
Maintain and sharpen machine tools
Perform preventative maintenance and keep detailed service records
Clean and lubricate machinery regularly
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
Experience with automation, electrical knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with CNC machines and PLCs are an asset
Hands-on experience with fans, motors, pumps, valves, hoists, compressors, cylinders, and conveyors
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working independently and under tight deadlines
Safety-first mindset with knowledge of equipment safety standards
Flexibility to work various shifts when needed (e.g., vacation coverage)
Commitment to continuous improvement
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Must follow safety regulations and handle equipment and chemical hazards
Application Requirement: Candidates required to currently reside within British Columbia and hold valid legal eligibility to work full-time in Canada to be considered for this position
