Job Description

To carry out maintenance activities to equipment, site processes and services in-line with manufactures / legal recommended interval and standards. Ensuring that the service supplied is of the highest possible standard and fits with production needs & requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production equipment
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, process changeovers, safety actions, and machine setups
  • Participate in installation qualifications, risk assessments, PUWER, and LOTO procedures
  • Collaborate with process engineering to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent formal qualification (NVQ 3, HNC, or BTEC) in production maintenance manufacture with an electrical OR mechanical background
  • Ability to work under time pressure, independently and in a team
  • Motivation and commitment to safety, quality, and on-time deliveries
  • Mechanical maintenance experience
  • Experience with PLCs (Siemens / Mitsubishi) – able to interrogate and modify PLC software
