We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our new melt facility at the Bakers Campus in Monroe, NC. In this position, you are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs. As a Maintenance Associate, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, determine the problem, and implement the repair. This position requires an understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems. Qualified candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints proficiently and make necessary modifications. This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days; then 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off.

Requirements
General HS Diploma / GED
At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required
Mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
Able to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts
Ability to utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs
