We are currently seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a busy manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, tracking and managing tool inventory, working closely with tool suppliers, supervisors, and employees, and serving as the primary point of contact for all on-site maintenance issues.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the main point of contact for maintenance-related issues across the site
Receive, assess, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance requests in a fast-paced environment
Communicate maintenance status and timelines to supervisors
Track, maintain, and organize tool inventory for maintenance and production use
Coordinate with supervisors and employees to ensure tools are available, accounted for, and properly maintained
Work with suppliers to source tools, parts, and materials as required
Assist with the coordination and oversight of external contractors performing maintenance or repair work within the facility
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory logs
Support preventative maintenance planning and scheduling
Identify opportunities for improved efficiency and organization
Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience tracking inventory and working with suppliers
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and external contractors
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Flexibility in scheduling to support maintenance needs (when required)

Previous experience in a maintenance coordination or facilities role
