As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll provide regular and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner to all plant equipment. Work collaboratively among the maintenance and controls departments on preventative maintenance optimization and TPM efforts while using a wide variety of tools and equipment. Additionally, you’ll review and actively participate in risk assessments across the plant to ensure top-notch safe working order of equipment throughout our processes.
Job Responsibility:
Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Perform required PM checks and report all problems to supervision
Learn to confidently operate all production equipment in extrusion and other areas
Safely and effectively troubleshoot electrical controls circuits (replacing fuses, resetting overloads, checking for failures on equipment, etc.)
Address repair needs for building and grounds as needed
Utilize WMS and SAP maintenance system for work order functions
Maintain record keeping and inventory of spare parts as required
Develop training documents and train others
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
