The Maintenance Technician works as a key member of a high-performance team responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment.
Job Responsibility:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment failures (e.g. Production equipment, HVAC/air handlers, air compressors, RO/DI water system)
Assist in developing, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance procedures and documentation (Maximo)
Assist in review and tracking of equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long term reliability
Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures
Assist in spare part analysis and inventory development
Assist in the installation and startup of new equipment
Requirements:
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: Maximo, JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must have a high school diploma or GED, Technical Associates degree preferred
Industrial maintenance experience in a multi craft environment preferred
Cleanroom (ISO 7/8) experience preferred
Must have good written and verbal communication skills (ability to read, write and speak fluent English) and understanding of cGMP regulations. Good procedural writing skills
