Job Description

The Maintenance Technician works as a key member of a high-performance team responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment failures (e.g. Production equipment, HVAC/air handlers, air compressors, RO/DI water system)
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance procedures and documentation (Maximo)
  • Assist in review and tracking of equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long term reliability
  • Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures
  • Assist in spare part analysis and inventory development
  • Assist in the installation and startup of new equipment

Requirements

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: Maximo, JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, Technical Associates degree preferred
  • Industrial maintenance experience in a multi craft environment preferred
  • Cleanroom (ISO 7/8) experience preferred
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills (ability to read, write and speak fluent English) and understanding of cGMP regulations. Good procedural writing skills

Nice to have

  • Technical Associates degree preferred
  • Industrial maintenance experience in a multi craft environment preferred
  • Cleanroom (ISO 7/8) experience preferred
