Job Responsibility:

  • Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC
  • Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair
  • Implement and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment in compliance with ergonomic, emergency response and injury prevention regulations
  • Keep detailed records and reports
  • Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members
  • Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs
  • Contribute to an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly guest service

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and organized team member
  • Ability to perform advanced maintenance tasks
  • Ability to dismantle and repair equipment
  • Knowledge of pool maintenance
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of building maintenance
  • Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery faults
  • Flexibility for emergency repairs
  • Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills
  • Ability to dismantle equipment to repair or replace defective components
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenance
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical repair and plumbing
  • Ability to speak, write and receive direction in English
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using appropriate testing methods
  • Flexibility for emergency repair availability
