Job Responsibility

Carrying out ad hoc repairs in relation to all aspects of the building environment, including particular attention to the upkeep of our rooms, preventative maintenance and guest requests
Monitor and inspect the conditions of work spaces and equipment, ensuring to report on any areas where improvements are required
Preventative maintenance and operation testing
Work in a professional and safe manner in accordance with relevant hotel standards and procedures

Minimum 1 year of building maintenance experience in hospitality or a related field
Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting

Job Responsibility

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and operational areas
Troubleshoot and repair equipment across multiple systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems
Conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
Maintain knowledge of pool systems, kitchen equipment, and general building operations
Complete all maintenance requests, work orders, and HotSOS tickets promptly and to Forbes standards
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
Support the Engineering team in preventative maintenance programs and special projects
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and Hyatt standards
Collaborate cross-departmentally to maintain a seamless guest experience
