Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on baggage handling and conveyor systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on motors, gearboxes, belts, rollers, and bearings
• Support PLC and drive troubleshooting, including program reloads as needed
• Inspect, align, and calibrate sensors and automated components
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Diagnose faults and implement effective, timely solutions to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with operations and automation teams to support system performance
• Complete maintenance logs and work orders using a CMMS system
• Follow all health & safety, 5S, and operational procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Post-secondary education in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or related field
• 1+ year of relevant experience in maintenance or automation
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic electrical knowledge
• Exposure to conveyors, automation systems, or PLCs is an asset
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Solid problem-solving ability with a hands-on, analytical approach
• Proficient with basic computer systems (MS Office / CMMS)
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail and reliability
