Develops and implements solutions to technical and facility related problems
Cooperates and interacts effectively through ongoing communication and exchange of information with relevant personnel related to maintenance matters
Maintains and implements preventative maintenance programs and consults with the warehouse management team regarding maintenance needs, safety concerns and sanitation issues
Provides input to the warehouse management team regarding changes to improve the operation
Communicates appropriately with warehouse management, staff and third parties on any maintenance related issues
Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements
Performs routine maintenance on the warehouse building interior and exterior
Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary warehouse building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance
Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due by utilizing an effective personal organization method
Maintains confidentiality and privacy of company sensitive data

Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and to maintain complete and accurate records

Perform sample centrifugation according to SOP as applicable to assigned area
Responsible for discarding samples
Request and receive back-up samples if applicable to assigned area
Perform equipment maintenance and sample management functions to ensure accuracy and appropriate sample processing is performed and completed so testing is performed in a timely manner
Daily communication of issues related to laboratory equipment, supplies, workload scheduling and participation in continuous improvement activities
Non-technical duties include monitoring supply inventories, ensuring that supply bins on the Lab floor are adequately stocked, and that work area is maintained in a compliant state, equipment and instrumentation is cleaned in accordance with SOPs
Participate in operational excellence initiatives and projects to drive a culture of continuous improvement to achieve site operational excellence goals
Maintain general cleanliness of work area and assist other work areas as needed to ensure a clean and professional environment
