Maintenance Tech

• Performs preventive maintenance and repair work orders for facility mechanical systems, minor electrical, minor plumbing, lighting systems, grounds care, entry systems, roofing, and refuse programs
• Performs facility inspections, reporting on conditions impacting satisfactory tenant/customer occupancy and operations
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed
• Ensure the facility and building systems meet or exceed rated life
• Maintain compliance with policies of JLL/Client/Site. Assist in any audits of the site and systems
• Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Additional responsibilities assigned by managers
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Maintain a positive working relationship and be able to communicate with building tenants, staff, and contractors about the work
• Must be willing and able to support any after-hours building-related activity as required
• Other tasks as assigned

• Have a minimum of 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience
• The candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
• Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of the following -- basic carpentry, basic HVAC, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
• Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation
• Ability to climb ladders up to 12 feet and lift 60 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to safely bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and turn frequently
• Requires ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports, excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work and act independently, safely, and make solid decisions in the field
• Can operate various hand tools
• Requires teamwork attitude
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
