Your Role: The Maintenance Technician II works as a key member of a high-performance team responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Works as a key member of a high-performance team responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment failures
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance procedures
  • Assist in review and tracking of equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long term reliability
  • Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures
  • Assist in spare part analysis and inventory development
  • Assist in the installation and startup of new equipment

Requirements

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment failures
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance procedures
  • Assist in review and tracking of equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long term reliability
  • Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures
  • Assist in spare part analysis and inventory development
  • Assist in the installation and startup of new equipment
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills (ability to read, write and speak fluent English) and understanding of cGMP regulations
  • Good procedural writing skills
  • Experience with CMMS (i.e. Maximo) preferred
  • Ability to read schematics preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to use enterprise software preferred (examples include: JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must have 3-5 years of electromechanical experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, Technical Associates degree preferred
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical regulated industry experience preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience with CMMS (i.e. Maximo)
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Ability to use enterprise software (examples include: JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.)
  • Technical Associates degree
