Requirements

Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Practical experience in the areas of aircraft repair and maintenance on a variety of aircraft
Fluency in English and German
The ability to prepare concise and accurate assessments and comprehensive, well-structured reports for technical and non-technical readers
Analytical, reasoned and methodical approach
Team player with strong current technical knowledge
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to enable development of working relationships with clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently and to deal effectively with multiple priorities and conflicting demands
Computer literacy with a practical understanding of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job Responsibility

Performing loss survey work, technical appraisals and reporting on behalf of insurers and interested parties, undertaking consultancy tasks as required
Effectively managing project files and work in progress with timely responses to instructions and enquiries
Close liaison with clients and colleagues regarding claims handling
Ensuring activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
Developing awareness of market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
Identifying and contributing to new business development opportunities
Forging stronger partnerships with key accounts to maximise revenue opportunities and account retention

Requirements

Able to conduct building surveys and preparing technical reports
Diagnose building defects including damp and mould
Capable of managing varied repair and refurbishment projects from inception to completion
Able to recruit and induct staff ensuring they have a professional introduction to the company and contract
Be the technical expert for associated works, providing efficient and effective solutions where required
Able to support and coach operatives to achieve the perfect process
Able to operate in a changing and evolving environment and enjoy the challenge
Possess interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner being able to challenge and be challenged

Job Responsibility

Ability to diagnose root causes using evidence-based assessment rather than symptomatic repair
Capability to project-manage small works from survey through to completion, using suitable contractors and direct labour
High levels of accuracy, clear written reporting, and methodical record-keeping
Escalate to the Contract Manager any serious events or occurrences that need to be addressed urgently, and highlight key issues, trends or issues that could affect service delivery performance longer term if not addressed
Be accountable for the jobs you manage, supporting the Operations Centre when pulled upon to deal with technical queries or general issues
Scope and survey work
Ensure works that you are accountable for are supervised and monitored through to completion
Recruit and induct operatives ensuring they have a professional introduction to the company and contract and ensure the probationary process is effectively managed and completed to a successful outcome for the company
Understand each toolbox talk topic and deliver confidently yourself, ensuring that operatives attend when required
Treat tenants with respect, demonstrating a courteous manner, escalating if an issue cannot be resolved to the Contract Manager

Job Responsibility
