Job Description

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Support professional to help maintain machinery and equipment. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working in a fast‑paced environment, and ensuring machinery runs efficiently with minimal downtime. To support the performance and upkeep of all machinery and equipment across the site, ensuring smooth daily operations and reducing downtime.

Job Responsibility

  • To maintain the machines in an efficient and hygienic manner
  • To ensure that machines are maintained in accordance with the commissioning and/or preventative maintenance schedule and repaired as necessary
  • To ensure an efficient change of tooling on East Site
  • To ensure Efficient servicing of machines
  • To ensure machinery and tools are kept clean
  • To ensure that all problems arising are brought to the attention of the Head of Engineering or the Supervisor
  • To ensure the handover maintenance log is completed and sent at the end of the day
  • To ensure All Parts taken from Stock are booked out correctly
  • To keep the workshop, tidy, clean and organised

Requirements

  • Good communication skills
  • Good understanding of Maths

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the fruit or fresh‑produce industry
