Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk is responsible for overseeing maintenance tasks, supervising employees, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The role involves handling repair requests, managing inventory, and performing preventive maintenance. It also includes developing disaster protocols, inspecting fire safety systems, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Job Responsibility:

Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment
Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters
Identify and locate all shut-off valves
Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies
Maintain inventory and purchase orders log
Inspect tools, equipment, and machines
Respond to guest repair requests
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees
Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems
Develop disaster response protocols
Complete safety training and certifications
Assist individuals with disabilities
Adhere to quality standards and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety

Requirements:

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
