This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities using FGJV’s facilities management software. It involves managing contract service providers, supporting maintenance execution on site, and developing timelines, budgets, and resource plans. The position ensures maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with FGJV policies and project objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, schedule, and administer all preventive and reactive maintenance activities through the CMMS, ensuring effective work allocation and timely completion.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external departments to scope works, organise materials, and align access requirements.
Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and company policies, including safety procedures, permits, JHAs, SWMS, and essential services servicing.
Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff and trades, promoting best‑practice methodologies and high performance.
Conduct regular safety walks, manage breakdowns, and provide hands‑on support for minor tasks where required.
Maintain equipment histories, manage critical spares, and monitor the effectiveness of maintenance activities and systems.
Develop and track maintenance KPIs, contribute to reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives including root cause analysis.

Demonstrated computer proficiency: Outlook, Word and Excel
Proven ability to follow written instructions, job orders, and directions
2–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling work within a multidisciplinary workforce
Experience in preventive and reactive maintenance systems
Experience in developing others, problem-solving, and conducting data analysis
Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulations
Ability to supervise team members
Demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude.
Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills
Practical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.
