MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (Production/Manufacturing/Factory based) Our client is looking to expand their maintenance team and have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor reporting directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager. Role includes:- Ensuring maintenance employees apply safe working practices. Develop safe Systems of Work for maintenance tasks. Ensure asset's are maintained in a safe condition. Ensure environmental equipment is properly maintained. Conduct regular safety meetings. Develop and manage people resource plan. Pro-active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools. Root cause analysis. Assess spare parts requirements. Control use of contract labour. Technical troubleshooting Manage maintenance contractor spending for the business area within budget. Skills/knowledge:- Candidate should demonstrate safety awareness and working knowledge of policy, standards and beliefs, ensuring same is present with colleagues. Maintain safe environment. Be aware of environmental/H&S issues, and ensuring systems are in place to deal with any issues. Preference will be given to mechanical qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with a manufacturing/production experience - preferable factory based. Preference will be given to candidates who live around the Inverness area. Excellent salary is offered to the right candidate. This is a permanent position, interviews are being arranged shortly, hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with the requirement for additional hours worked during maintenance shutdowns as required.
