Job Responsibility

  • Leadership: Act as successor to the Maintenance Manager, supervising contractors and managing budgets
  • Compliance & Care: Ensure site and equipment compliance
  • manage crane, furnace, and insurance defects
  • Systems & Admin: Oversee the CMMS/PPM system, logging breakdowns and managing spare parts/ordering
  • Hands-on Engineering: Electrical fault-finding, working with motors, mechanical repairs, and sharing the call-out/weekend rota

Requirements

  • Experience: Heavy industrial, chemical, or fast-paced manufacturing background with strong electrical fault-finding and motor knowledge
  • Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (Electrical bias preferred) with a strong grasp of safe systems of work
  • Traits: Ambitious, flexible, organized, and willing to work a flexible schedule, call-out rota, and occasional weekends
  • Desirable: Experience with industrial cranes and furnaces (training provided if needed)
