Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive property maintenance professional to join a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional living experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing day-to-day maintenance operations for a multifamily residential property. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the property remains in top condition through effective management of building systems, vendor coordination, and timely completion of service requests and unit turnovers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily maintenance activities, staff, and common areas to uphold quality standards
  • perform general repairs and troubleshooting across carpentry, drywall, hardware, appliances, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) systems
  • inspect and prepare units for move-in and move-out, ensuring readiness and quality
  • respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours on-call situations
  • conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections of property systems and equipment
  • manage and prioritize work orders for efficient resolution
  • monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and maintain budget compliance
  • review vendor proposals, make recommendations, and oversee third-party contractor work
  • document maintenance activities, incident reports, and vendor performance
  • maintain property cleanliness
  • stay informed on building codes and safety regulations
  • lead property inspections, including alarm systems and compliance checks
  • support technical training and skill development for maintenance team members
  • coordinate renovation projects and unit turnovers with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or construction
  • strong knowledge of maintenance systems, inventory control, and work order management
  • proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building components
  • ability to use diagnostic tools for electrical systems and perform plumbing repairs
  • leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and vendors effectively
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • strong work ethic, proactive mindset, and attention to detail
  • ability to maintain professionalism with residents, vendors, and stakeholders.
