Maintenance Supervisor

• Look after the day-to-day operations of the grounds and maintenance at Pumphouse Point and Derwent Bridge Hotel
• Lead your team and participate in daily grounds and maintenance tasks
• Carry out incidental maintenance repairs in rooms, grounds, amenities and other facilities
• Assist with building projects, major repairs and renovations, including painting, basic plumbing, mechanical repairs and replacing hardware
• Support day-to-day operations by assisting with porterage, including guest luggage deliveries to rooms as required
• Assist with the receival of stock deliveries as required, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently

• Minimum of 3 years related experience in hospitality maintenance role or a relevant field
• Well developed interpersonal and people management skills, including ability to interact with and influence people at all levels
• Strong leadership and management skills combined with a proven ability to lead, mentor and develop others
• Demonstrated skills and experience in repairing and maintaining buildings, plant and equipment
• Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Trade qualification or relevant certificates (desirable)
• A level of fitness is required to meet the physical demands of this role
• Personal transport is essential due to the remote location
