Adesta, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor - Telecom. The Maintenance Supervisor - Telecom schedules personnel on meeting contractual data requirements and will also function as the site purchasing liaison for the project, working with field and corporate purchasing staff.
Job Responsibility:
Handle all contract deliverables: project work schedules, project progress reports, project submittals, material cut sheets, warranty submittals, turnover documentation, etc.
Coordinate and compile bills of materials and procurement forecasts with input from field staff and corporate purchasing staff
Preparation and submission of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to vendors and supplies for required material/parts with support from corporate purchasing staff
Maintenance of purchasing documents including material/purchasing agreements, purchase orders, packing slips, requisition approvals, etc.
Update and maintain project work schedules
Collect, review, and assemble material cut sheets and documentation from vendors and subcontractors and submit documentation to customer for review
Responsible for material receiving/handling, distribution, inventory control and invoice verification
Coordinate and ensure data milestones are met
Edit and proof data submittals for quality control
Attend meetings with the customer, designer, and subcontractors as necessary to facilitate timely approval of all submittals
Requirements:
Must possess one or more of the following: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience
Associate’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or construction engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or construction engineering
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and specifications, common scientific and technical/vendor journals, and other documents
Communicate effectively in both oral and written English technical language, both in interpreting requirements and providing reports

Procurement or contracts administration in a construction operations environment
