The Maintenance Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Maintenance Supervisors are: Resilient; Detail oriented; Ambitious; Demonstrate high integrity
Job Responsibility:
Create a safety culture and apply and implement workplace policies
Lead/ coach skilled trades/maintenance personnel in all aspects of asset management including but not limited to: asset availability (mean time to repair, mean time between failure), cycle time, preventative maintenance, predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies
Lead/coach teams in leveraging new and existing machine monitoring tools to identify constraints in the system and systematically reduce and eliminate interruptions in production flow
Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
Communicate effectively with hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
Evaluate team member performance and encourage continuous improvement
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience
Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
Mechanical aptitude
Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
Outstanding, interpersonal teambuilding and communication skills

Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s Degree
Safety and quality experience
Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
Knowledge of constraint management principles
Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
