As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the maintenance and repair of the production factory during your assigned shift and work group. You will ensure that the maintenance department provides the highest quality of service to the plant. This high-quality service includes minimizing downtime, supporting safety and sanitation, and minimizing costs by encouraging innovative and progressive solutions. You must develop and lead people to ensure the achievement of plant objectives. You will take ownership of driving continuous improvement and participate in and lead TPM activities.
Job Responsibility:
Provides technical guidance to other team leaders and shift team members
Assigns work tasks to team members and monitors task completion
Ensures team members have the proper tools, supplies, and equipment needed for successful task completion
Ensures safe work practices/promotes a safe work environment
Resolves personnel, mechanical operational and resource-related issues that arise during shift so that individual and team productivity are not affected
Ensure company policies, Maintenance and Quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) are understood and followed by associates
Ensure compliance with HACCP, NQS, SSOP, FTQ and that these are understood and followed
Ensure safety and productivity goals are achieved and provide direction to team to achieve these goals
Attend BUs DORs & WORs
Manage controllable costs during assigned shifts (labor and materials)
Manages work orders using SAP and established shift handoff sheets
Create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute and be valued
Train and develop associates
Clearly explain and check to make sure others understand what is expected
Build confidence in associates and provide one on one as well as team coaching
Provide information and resources to the team to make decisions and solve problems
Keeps team members apprised regarding administrative matters, policy, procedures, team/department performance and other work-related matters that affect them through team meetings, shift start-up meetings, and one-on-one contacts
Documents incidents requiring disciplinary action
Drafts procedures, schedule team members work schedules in Kronos, schedules vacations
Fills out supply requests, maintenance requests and other administrative forms
Be aware and react to intervene and reduce environmental impact and reduce waste
Take ownership of and drive continuous improvement using NCE and other tools
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must demonstrate knowledge of food safety & regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering

Employee must meet all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety
Three+ years related experience is required in increasingly challenging and responsible positions with demonstrated leadership competencies in a food, beverage or manufacturing environment
Superior verbal and written communication, leadership and planning skills are required
Strong computer (preference for SAP / AMM experience), problem solving and coaching skills are necessary
Able to understand and to clarify complex problems
