Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the reliability and maintenance of LV/HV electrical systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, motors, protection systems, and ancillary plant equipment
  • Supervising maintenance activities and contractors while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Planning and delivering complex maintenance and outage activities, including resource scheduling, budget management, and CMMS administration within Maximo
  • Producing technical documentation, work packs, RAMS, and managing support contracts and maintenance procedures
  • Leading fault diagnosis, emergency breakdown response, RCA, HAZOPs, and reliability improvement activities to maintain safe and efficient plant operation
  • Holding Site Safety Rule authorisations up to Appointed Person level and provides technical leadership, coaching, and operational support to technicians and shift teams

Requirements

  • 10 years' experience in planning, scoping, and delivering LV and HV electrical
  • Educated to HNC standard (or equivalent levels) in an Electrical Engineering discipline
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Self-motivated with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to analyse and diagnose problems logically under pressure
  • COMPEX and 18th Edition (BS-7671)
