Maintenance Operative

• Making sure Residents live in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times
• Carrying out audits
• Keeping records up to date
• Replacing taps or mixer valves
• Fitting new extractor fans
• Repairing timber on bedroom windows
• Putting up new wallpaper

• Solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ideally some IT skills
• Ability to be considerate and kind when communicating with residents or co-workers
• Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns
• Willingness to attend safeguarding training
• Ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken
