Maintenance Operative

• Ensure the condition of the building is maintained to a high standard
• Liaise with Home Manager and Estates Manager regarding internal maintenance work and external contractor works (planned, reactive and emergency)
• Complete basic fire, electrical and appliance checks
• Report all faults
• Carry out small-scale decoration of bedrooms and some common areas when required

• Experience working in a maintenance or general trade role
• Good English and numeracy skills
• Passion for caring and helping residents to thrive
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to use own initiative to solve problems
• Takes pride in their work

Level 2 Diploma in Property Maintenance
