Job Description:

Are you a practical, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping properties safe, functional, and well-maintained? Our client is looking for a Maintenance Operative to join their team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality living experience for residents.

Job Responsibility:

Carry Out Repairs: Respond promptly to day-to-day maintenance requests from tenants and the welfare team
Hands-On Problem Solving: Diagnose and fix a variety of maintenance issues, from plumbing and electrical to general property repairs
Preventive Maintenance: Undertake routine checks and planned maintenance to keep properties in top condition
Handle Emergencies: Prioritise urgent repairs and unplanned maintenance tasks to minimise disruption for residents
Maintain Site Systems: Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are operating safely and efficiently
Keep Records: Log all work completed, inspections, and equipment checks accurately
Tenant Interaction: Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, keeping them informed about repair progress
Support Team Operations: Assist with scheduling, ordering parts, and other admin tasks when needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in property maintenance, ideally within caravan parks, holiday parks, or similar environments
Good knowledge of Health & Safety standards
Practical skills across plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
A proactive approach and ability to work independently
