Job Description:

Are you mechanically minded and hands on? Do you have a great eye for detail and are happy to work outside in all weathers? If you answered yes then Holcim are looking for someone just like you to join them on the quarry, trialling a new project. The successful candidate will be someone who has a mechanical background, is flexible and happy to work independently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Walk the plant and look/listen out for anything unusual
  • Basic fault finding
  • Check all production belts are working correctly
  • Highlight and report back on any work that needs undertaking
  • Drive the process of getting any issues fixed in a timely manner
  • Communicating with internal and external contacts in a clear and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Mechanical background
  • Capacity to operate with minimal supervision
  • Strong IT literacy skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Willing to be on your feet all day
