The purpose of this role is to support the Maintenance Operations Stores and Workshop Team Leader and Maintenance Operations Manager in supplying a world class service to BT’s customer base through parts and warehouse management in the Barlborough Stores. Maximising team effectiveness and productivity and ensuring all contractual SLA’s and efficiency metrics are met to deliver a world class customer experience. To liaise closely with peers in Enterprise Field Service to support and implement improvement strategies. Responsibility for Barlborough Stores warehouse and parts functions enabling BT to meet contractual customer SLA’s.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborating with the Maintenance Operations Manager and S&W Team Leader to manage Unity and BT stock requirements effectively
Communicating with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and operational transparency
Ensuring compliance with BT Health & Safety guidelines and escalating concerns appropriately
Taking a proactive approach to resolving team-level issues, escalating when necessary to leadership
Overseeing accurate stock booking in/out and maintaining robust inventory control systems
Supporting operational efficiency through diligent stock management and process adherence
Requirements:
Demonstrates integrity and accountability in all actions and decisions
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on leveraging application support to drive efficiencies
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward customer service and issue resolution
Skilled in using BT systems and reporting tools to identify and drive efficiencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with financial awareness
High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data handling and reporting
