Job Responsibility:

  • Preventative Maintenance on pumps, seals, motors, and conveyors
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Work daily with plant engineers, electricians, and operators
  • Interpret technical drawings to assemble, align, and adjust machinery
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS

Requirements:

  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Millwright Certificate or registered 3rd/4th Year Apprentice
  • Proven experience maintaining equipment in a heavy industrial or plant environment
  • A 'zero-harm' commitment and the ability to pass a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol test
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating day/night continental schedule
  • Strong problem-solving skills and basic computer literacy for record-keeping
