Job Description:

We're looking for a permanent full-time Millwright responsible for the preventive maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the automated manufacturing and high-speed packaging equipment in a reputable food company located in Brandon, MB.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdowns to minimize downtime
Perform equipment installations and modifications, including part repairs
Understand machine and system schematics to effectively P.M., troubleshoot, and do root-cause repairs on high-speed machinery and equipment
Work efficiently in a processing environment while ensuring food safety standards
Adhere to company policies and foster a safety-first culture
Take on additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or designated leadership

Requirements:

Red Seal Millwright ticket, with maintenance experience (manufacturing or fabrication)
Experience in Hydraulics and pneumatics
Ability to be reliable, honest, and show strong work ethic
Basic electrical, fabrication, welding (stainless), and machining experience
Knowledge or ability to quickly learn CMMS (M2, SAP) programs

What we offer:

Competitive wage: $43.77 an hour to start + $1.20 after 6pm premium
Rotating shift (12 hours: 2/2/3/2/2/3)
In the city of Brandon MB (no travel), up to $5k relocation support
