Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Intern to join our team the Summer 2025! The ideal candidate will be a sophomore (or higher) student with a strong understanding of Maintenance principles and processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist Methods and Reliability Maintenance Teams with preventative maintenance tasks
  • Learn and understand basic troubleshooting procedures for various equipment
  • Support with minor repairs under the guidance of experienced engineers & technicians
  • Maintain accurate records on assigned tasks and completed repairs
  • Research technical information and safety procedures
  • Assist with maintenance inventory organization and management
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols as outlined by the company
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and preferably focused on mechanical engineering or other related Engineering field
  • Candidates preferred to have completed their second year of engineering studies and entering Junior or Senior year
  • High problem-solving skills and self-direction
  • Ability to work in a team or individual contributor

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding
  • Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools
  • Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products
  • MS and Power Bi experience is highly preferred

  • Liaise with discipline BIM leads to ensure optimized clash results using suppression rules based on modelling methods
  • Support the production of high-quality 3D CAD models and detailed construction drawings for specific elements of railway station projects, ensuring integration with overall project information models
  • Produce model geometry and information in line with the Component Catalogue and outline information within the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  • Ensure all models that are submitted, meet the project requirements set out, and Ensure systems are in place for clash avoidance, internal model audits and clash detection before model submission
  • Support and liaise with the BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager and wider project joint venture team in the implementation of deliverables adhering to specified project standards and to facilitate issue resolution
