The Maintenance Mechanic responsible for keeping our facilities operating smoothly and safely. This role combines hands-on technical work with preventive maintenance, ensuring our clients enjoy optimal building conditions and uninterrupted operations.
Job Responsibility:
Performing preventive maintenance and responding to repair work orders across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Conducting facility inspections and report on conditions that could impact client operations
Interior maintenance tasks like hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture
Assisting the operations team with building and equipment maintenance
Moving office furniture and equipment as needed
Replacing lighting and ballasts
Maintaining HVAC systems by cleaning coils and changing filters and belts
Completing hazard assessments
Maintaining clean and safe work areas
Staying current with all required safety training
Submitting daily P-card receipts
Updating work order status in real-time using CMMS systems like 360 Facility
Performing vehicle safety inspections
Escalating issues to customers and management promptly
Attending required work and safety meetings
Requirements:
Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
Strong communication skills for reporting and escalation purposes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance requests
Commitment to following all safety procedures and protocols
Nice to have:
2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or building operations
Experience with CMMS systems, particularly 360 Facility or similar platforms
Technical certification or trade school training in relevant disciplines
Knowledge of HVAC systems maintenance and repair
Experience working in commercial office environments
Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
Previous experience with preventive maintenance programs
Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
Customer service experience in professional settings
