Maintenance Mechanic

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment as needed
• Install and maintain mechanical and system components
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Support building maintenance tasks as assigned
• Assist with recycling and trash pickup when necessary
• Read and follow blueprints, manuals, and assembly instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

• Knowledge of general building maintenance procedures
• Experience with machinery, tools, and mechanical repairs
• Understanding of safety precautions and occupational hazards
• Ability to read blueprints and instructions
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once
• Previous maintenance experience preferred
