Maintenance Mechanic

• Assists in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
• Becomes familiar with the plant process flow and any plant limiting factors
• Becomes familiar with plant equipment, including: Belt feeders, Vibratory screen, Surry pumps, Cyclones, Hydrosizer, Dewatering screens, Conveyors, Fluid bed dryer, Rotary drum dryer, Skidsteer, Bucket elevators, Truck scales, Other equipment as necessary

• Maintenance/millwright or similar experience
• Knowledgeable in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery/equipment
• Familiar with spherical roller bearings and taper lock bushings
• Ability to set and align V-belt drive systems
• Metal fabrication and welding techniques, including vertical pass, torch use, etc.

Knowledge of conveyor belt tracking and repair is an advantage
