We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the safety, functionality and overall upkeep of this fantastic hotel. This is a key leadership role where you’ll ensure our property is always operating at its best, creating a safe, well-maintained environment that allows our teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience every day.
Job Responsibility:
Managing all maintenance requirements across the hotel
Delivering planned preventative maintenance and routine testing of rooms and equipment
Carrying out hands-on maintenance tasks across carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating
Coordinating external contractors for specialist works and major repairs
Ensuring compliance with all safety standards, regulations and procedures
Training team members on equipment use and maintenance procedures where required
Responding quickly and effectively to maintenance issues and emergencies
Driving a proactive approach to maintenance to prevent issues before they arise
Requirements:
Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role within a similar environment
Strong working knowledge across general trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating)
Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to prioritise effectively
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
The confidence to take ownership and make decisions
The ability to build relationships with contractors and internal teams
