Job Responsibility
Demonstrate a full commitment to safety, health, quality and environmental processes and programs, including labor relations and company policies
Supervise and lead development of direct reports and hourly employees toward implementation of a self-directed and reliability-focused organization
Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment
initiate orders as necessary
Manage the planning, implementation and support of best maintenance practices
Responsible for strategic maintenance planning, budgeting and execution
Direct maintenance personnel in achieving predictive, preventive and reliability based maintenance excellence
Achieving continuous improvement targets for both maintenance work efficiency and cost
Work closely with Operational management to optimize the overall production and cost efficiency of the operation as well as manage risk
Lead the equipment/process troubleshooting effort
Determine the needs for and provide information and training to help build technical skills in the workforce
Requires flexible hours including nights and weekends
Requirements
B.S. in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
Ten (10) or more years’ industry related experience
Some level of process controls knowledge is preferred
Possess excellent leadership, planning, organizational and analytical skills
Excellent skills in written and oral communication
Demonstrated ability to work well at senior management levels in an organization
