The location in Sanford, (Florida, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Manager. This job is full-time permanent.

Job Responsibility

  • Demonstrate a full commitment to safety, health, quality and environmental processes and programs, including labor relations and company policies
  • Supervise and lead development of direct reports and hourly employees toward implementation of a self-directed and reliability-focused organization
  • Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment
  • initiate orders as necessary
  • Manage the planning, implementation and support of best maintenance practices
  • Responsible for strategic maintenance planning, budgeting and execution
  • Direct maintenance personnel in achieving predictive, preventive and reliability based maintenance excellence
  • Achieving continuous improvement targets for both maintenance work efficiency and cost
  • Work closely with Operational management to optimize the overall production and cost efficiency of the operation as well as manage risk
  • Lead the equipment/process troubleshooting effort
  • Determine the needs for and provide information and training to help build technical skills in the workforce
  • Requires flexible hours including nights and weekends

Requirements

  • B.S. in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
  • Ten (10) or more years’ industry related experience
  • Some level of process controls knowledge is preferred
  • Possess excellent leadership, planning, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent skills in written and oral communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work well at senior management levels in an organization
