The Maintenance Manager contributes to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by overseeing the maintenance operations at our highly automated facility in Lethbridge. The role manages a team of both professional direct reports and maintenance technicians, leading the development, growth, and capabilities of the maintenance department.
Job Responsibility:
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient operations of the installation, maintenance, and modification of all equipment, machinery, and plant infrastructure
Lead continuous technical improvement of the facility to achieve performance targets and execute capital projects
Manage maintenance personnel through coaching, developing, and training
improve communication and engagement to optimize productivity of teams
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards, including Operations, Quality, Safety, Human Resources, Contractors, etc.)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (mechanical, electrical, automation), or a post-secondary designation of equivalent relevance
3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing/production environment
3+ years leadership experience
Experience with project management, ability to manage predictive maintenance programs and various computer software programs
