Ramada Resort by Wyndham Shoal Bay currently has an opportunity for an experienced hands on Maintenance Manager to join the team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing, co-ordinating and completing the day to day operation of the Maintenance department
  • Maintain a high standard with all areas of unit repairs, external property and resort common area maintenance in line with Body Corporate budgets and requirements as outlined in the caretaker agreement
  • Maintain up to date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories and fire safety records and associated department related paperwork

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a management role is essential
  • Demonstrated high level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building and pool maintenance)
  • Experience in Strata property management properties, holiday letting pools and care taking agreements will be highly regarded
  • Experience with Hotel/Resort refurbishment highly regarded
  • Current First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
  • Results orientated, with strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to multitask and use initiative
  • Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in Strata ownership operations
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods
  • Ability to maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records and preparation of monthly reports
  • Trade qualification desirable
  • Current drivers licence

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Strata property management properties, holiday letting pools and care taking agreements will be highly regarded
